South West Coastal Path - Lizard to Kynance Cove

On the first full day of our Holiday at the Lizard, Cornwall, we decided to walk a small section of the South West Coastal Path - from Lizard to Kynance Cove.  These few pictures don't do it justice - it was stunning !

Our Route - in Google Earth

A Cornish Cough, on the roof of where we were staying,
It seemed a lot more than 2.5 miles !
The old Lizard lifeboat station
Mum, Val & Dad dropping down into one of the many gullies
Looking back at Lizard Point.  Lighthouse at the top, Lifeboat station on the right.
Looking up the Coast.  Our destination can just be seen in the distance.
The Sea Thrift was abundant
Dad & I didn't realise how close to the cliff edge we'd got !
Crystal Clear water
Looking back at one of the beaches
Kynance Cove !
An Adder !  The scale doesn't give away the fact that it's a baby one, down in a gap between the rocks - otherwise I wouldn't have gotten so close !
Kynance Cove, from the rocks above the Cafe.
Mum, me & Dad on the beach, down in the cove.
Steps : 23,281 - Over the while day.
